Our Sales Enablement Summit in San Francisco returned for 2023, and among the over one hundred guests, two took the time to share their experience as attendees.

The pair discussed why they chose to attend and the biggest benefits they’ve gained from attending a Sales Enablement Summit.
Why attend?
SEC’s Sales Enablement Summits take place all year round, all over the world. No matter where you are, you have the opportunity to network and learn from dozens of your peers.
Roderick attended our San Francisco event because:
“It's a great opportunity to mix, mingle, and learn from some of the best practitioners out there - and it's also an opportunity to continually learn as well.
“There's a lot of conferences you go to where people are talking at you, here I felt like you didn't just have presenters and speakers, you literally had folks that were educating us today.”
Brooke told us that our events are an opportunity to stay up to date in the field:
“The main reason I attended the conference is because I want to understand the trends that are currently going on in enablement.
“The market is constantly changing, and so I want to stay on top of what’s new, what’s coming, and then to also network with the rest of the enablement community.”
The benefits

Roderick was asked if he’d recommend the event to others, and his response was an emphatic yes:
“I’d say you need to go next year! The reason is, again, it's an opportunity to mix and mingle.
“But also, it will help to take your enablement game to the next level. I've been doing this for over 20 years now, and I'm walking away with something new that I didn’t have before coming here today.”
For Brooke, the opportunity to learn about the various facets of enablement in one place stood out:
“I think the biggest benefit is that you get the opportunity to see multiple topics in one place. If you have a topic in mind that you want to learn about, or have a challenge that you're facing internally, you can come to a conference like this and hear perspectives from multiple enablers of how to tackle and overcome that challenge.
“I really enjoyed the event’s networking, because there are enablement practitioners of all levels and from all different industries here. Hearing their perspectives and the way that they're running things internally, can better shape what I'm doing in the future too.
“The networking here has been amazing because I've been able to learn from these perspectives and get different insights.”
How to attend
Roderick capped it off in the most succinct way possible:
“I want to be associated with the best conferences out there, and this is definitely it.”
